The creaminess of the cream cheese combined with the sweet peaches and spicy jalapeno is a winning combination in my book.
Before you start mixing up this easy dip recipe, be sure to allow the cream cheese to soften.
Cream cheese may be softened most easily by leaving it out on the counter for a couple of hours.
You may microwave cream cheese to soften it if you’re pressed for time.
Unwrapped cream cheese should be placed in a microwave-safe bowl and heated for 20 seconds on high power, just long enough to soften it but not melt it.
Softening the cream cheese will make it so much easier to blend the other ingredients together.
This, in turn, will help your dip turn out smooth and creamy.
The peach jalapeno dip mix that I prefer is made by Country Home Creations.
Originally, I ran across this dip mix at a local flea market/antique mall.
We came home and whipped up a batch almost immediately.
And it was so good!
I knew immediately that I needed to tell you about it.
Another great option is the Wind and Willows Peach and Jalapeno Cheeseball and Appetizer Mix that is available on Amazon.

Refrigerating your dip before you serve it may seem like an unnecessary step.
But trust me on this one.
Chilling the dip will allow time for the flavors to develop.
Sometimes dried spices need to pull in a little bit of moisture to release all those irresistible flavors.
Sure, you could eat the dip right after you blend it up.
But it will be so much better if you let it chill out for a few hours or even overnight.
You can either refrigerate the dip in a glass or plastic storage container, such as the ones made by Rubbermaid.
Or you can go ahead and transfer the dip to your serving bowl.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and your dip will be ready whenever your party is ready.
