Incredibles 2 Cookie Cake

Chocolate chip cookie cake is such a fun twist on chocolate chip cookies. And frosting just makes it better! This recipe is sure to please the birthday girl or boy of any age.

Total Time: 40 MINUTES

✅ INGREDIENTS

• 1 cup butter softened
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup light brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
• FOR CHOCOLATE FROSTING
• 1/2 cup butter
• 6 tbsp cocoa powder
• 3 cups powdered sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2-4 tbsp milk

✅ INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix in baking soda, salt, and flour. Stir in chocolate chips.
3. Press cookie dough into bottom of greased pan. Bake 20-25 minutes until lightly browned around the edges. 

✅ FOR CHOCOLATE FROSTING

1. Cream together butter, vanilla, and cocoa powder. Add powdered sugar and milk. Mix well.

Noah’s Incredibles 2 Chocolate Cake didn’t last until Noah’s actual birthday so we decided to make a “giant” Incredibles 2 Cookie Cake for his special day. I told you that chocolate cake was delicious. But I think this Incredibles 2 Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake is equally delicious.

And did I mention this cookie cake was a giant?

That was Noah’s special request.

So I made it big – 11 inches big.

When Noah caught sight of that big pan, he was so excited!

TRUTH #1: THE MORE FROSTING THE BETTER

My cookie decorating game needs a lot of work.

I can’t write letters straight to save my life, but I did my best.

And my rule is always “the more frosting the better!”

More frosting can cover up a multitude of sins in the decorating department.

I used the same Incredibles characters and the Incredibles Candle to decorate Noah’s cookie cake.

Noah actually helped me decorate his own cake.

I put on big dabs of chocolate frosting and Noah put the characters in place.

TRUTH #2: IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE PERFECT

What I’m telling you is “it’s so easy that a kid can do it!”

Don’t be intimidated by decorating a cake … or a cookie cake.

It doesn’t have to be perfect.

TRUTH #3: SPRINKLES BRING THAT PARTY VIBE

No matter what kind of cookie cake you make, sprinkles will always add that party vibe.

Even if you don’t have fancy plastic inedible decorations, sprinkles can make your party feel like a party.

So, let’s get to the recipe.

This is a chocolate chip cookie cake so I used my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe.

Then I added a chocolate buttercream frosting.
