KEY TO SUCCESS #1 – COAT THE ‘BITS WITH CINNAMON AND SUGAR
You’re going to love this easy recipe.
We’re starting by placing the Peanut Butter Ritz Bits into a plastic zip-top bag then adding in sugar and cinnamon.
Next, drizzle the melted butter into the bag.
Then turn and shake the bag around until all the crackers are completely covered in butter, cinnamon, and sugar.
The butter will ensure that the cinnamon and sugar stick to the crackers and this is important for perfect Ritz Bits Churros.
After we coat the crackers, we need to bake them so that they get a little crispy and the sugar forms a glaze on them.
Pour the cinnamon sugar-coated crackers into the basket of your pre-heated air fryer then cook for 4 minutes.
Pull the air fryer basket out and give it a good shake to redistribute the crackers.
You can also stir the crackers in the air fryer basket.
Redistributing the crackers halfway through cooking helps to make sure the crackers are crispy and toasted on all sides.
Cook the cracker for 4 more minutes until they are toasted.
After the crackers are air fried, pour them out onto a sheet of waxed paper to cool.
Allowing the crackers to cool completely before enjoying is a key to getting the right texture on the crackers.
After they have cooled, you can store them in an air-tight container or in a plastic zip-top bag.
Enjoy them while you can because they won’t last long!
