What’s a better food combination than peanut butter and chocolate? Noah is a big fan of both chocolate and peanut butter so I wanted to see if I could make him a cookie that featured both of these special ingredients.
I ended up with these Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies. Or are they Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies? Or are they Chippy Peanut Butter Cookies? Or are they Peanut Chocolate Butter Chip Cookies? Maybe PBCC Cookies? Whatever you decide to call them, they are thick and chewy and majorly delicious.
Emily helped me take some pictures of these cookies and we love to stack them up in all different formations. These are sturdy cookies and great for stacking. Very chewy.
Sometimes, though, my stacking skills are not on point. Rest assured that no cookies were harmed in the making of this blog post.
I recommend using a good quality peanut butter with this recipe. I prefer Jif creamy. An oily or low-fat peanut butter would not work well here.
You can use the chocolate chips of your choice. I tested with semi-sweet chips but milk chocolate would be great. Or combine peanut butter chips with the chocolate chips for an extra punch of peanut butter.
