Wat Arun යනු තායිලන්තයේ පිහිටි සිත්ගන්නාසුලු වූ බෞද්ධ පන්සලකි. නිමවා ඇත්තේ 1768 දී බැවින් පෞරාණික අගයක් හිමි අති විශිෂ්ට නිර්මානයකි.
පියවි ඇසින් දුටුවන් අමන්දානන්දයට පත් කරන්නේ මෙහි ගෘහ නිර්මාන ශිල්පයයි. ඔප දැමූ කුඩා වීදුරු කැබලි සහ වර්නවත් පෝසිලේන් යොදාගනිමින් මෙය වඩාත් ආකර්ශනීය ලෙස නිමවා ඇත.
මෙහි ප්‍රධාන ගොඩනැගිල්ල මීටර 70 ත් 80 ත් අතර පවතින බව වාර්තා වල සදහන් වනවා. හිරු උදාව සහ හිරුගේ බැස යාම ඉතා අලංකාරව දීප්තිමත් ලෙස දිස්වීම හේතුවෙන් මෙම පන්සල් සමූහය තායිලන්ත ජනතාව හදුන්වන්නේ " අලුයම පන්සල" නමිනි.
පන්සල නැරඹීමට පැමිනෙන පිරිස ප්‍රවාහනයට තායිලන්තයට ආවේණික බෝට්ටු යොදාගෙන තිබීම විශේෂත්වයක් .

Wat Arun is a Buddhist temple. It’s easily one of the most stunning temples in Bangkok, not only because of its riverside location but also because the design is very different from the other temples you can visit in the Thai capital.
Wat Arun (nicknamed the 'Temple of Dawn') is partly made up of colourfully decorated spires and stands majestically over the water.
Wat Arun is almost directly opposite Wat Pho, so it’s very easy to get to. A small shuttle boat takes you from one side of the river to the other.
The main tower rises 70 – 80 meters in height You can climb the steep stairs .The design of the temple is Khmer style. A very steep stairway is a typical element of these style. From religious perspective a steep stairway can be interpreted as a “stairway to heaven”.
The temple is named after Aruna, the Hindu God of dawn. He’s a personification of the reddish glow of the rising Sun, which is believed to have spiritual powers.
