Full Alleged Apple iPhone 12 Range Specs Leaked

The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11
Naming schemes mix and prices said to go up for the next batch of high-end iPhones

Respected Apple leaker Jon Prosser has reported what he says are the full specs and pricing for the entire iPhone 12 range. According to his YouTube report (below), there will be four models announced in September that will ship in October or November.
The 5.4in iPhone 12 will reportedly be partnered with the 6.1in iPhone 12 Max – not Plus. Both these cheaper flagships will have OLED displays, unlike the iPhone 11. They are said to have 4GB RAM and start at $649 for the 128GB iPhone 12, another base storage step up from this year’s 64GB. The base iPhone 12 Max is rumoured to cost $749.

If accurate, we’ll finally be happy saying the lowest storage iPhone option is enough for most people. That hasn’t been the case for a long time. Prosser says there will also be a 256GB option for each that adds $100 to the price. He claims that Apple will use OLED supplier BOE rather than Samsung in order to keep the price down.
These phones are said to have aluminium frames, the new A14 chipset, dual cameras akin to the iPhone 11, and 5G compatibility.

For the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max not only will the naming schemes get even more confusing, but the prices and sizes go up. A 6.1in iPhone 12 Pro and 6.4in 12 Pro Max are said to have Samsung OLED panels with 120Hz variable refresh rates, as first reported by EverythingApplePro and Max Weinbach.

In the video, Prosser says that Apple is still nervous about the high refresh rates as they may dent the battery life too much for the company’s liking.

The handsets will pack 6GB RAM according to Prosser’s sources with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB models starting at $999, $1,099 and $1,299 respectively. He says the 12 Pro Max will come in at $100 at every level, meaning the 512GB iPhone 12 Pro Max will cost $1,399, the same as the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra.

The Pro versions of the iPhone 12 will have triple cameras and LiDAR, with a four lens appearance on the rear, plus stainless steel frames, the A14 chip and 5G.
